2022 YOUNG SDG CHAMPION AWARDS

To recognize young grassroots leaders' exemplary commitment to championing the Sustainable Development Goals in their respective communities, the Global Institute for Youth Development will be launching the 3rd Young SDG Champion Awards - Philippines as one of the major activities of this year’s Philippine Young Leaders’ Convergence on October 12-15,  2022 in General Santos City.

The 3rd Young SDG Champion Awards - Philippines aims to recognize local change-makers and celebrate achievements being made from the grassroots up, which all form a critical contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development campaign.

The winners will be recognized at an Awards Ceremony to be held during the 2022 Philippine Young Leaders’ Convergence - Youth Convention on October 14, 2022 in General Santos City.

For the 3rd Young SDG Champion Awards - Philippines, individuals, ad hoc groups, and organizations may be nominated. Nominees must have spearheaded and/or co— facilitated programs or initiatives whose objectives are in line with the principles set forth by the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Self—nomination is allowed. We also allow nomination of multiple initiatives organized by one and the same individual, ad hoc group, or organization under the same category or across multiple categories.
