2022 PHILIPPINE YOUNG LEADERS' CONVERGENCE

The Global Institute for Youth Development, Inc., a non-stock, non-profit capacity development institute, is set to hold the 2022 Philippine Young Leaders’ Convergence (PYLC 2022) on October 12-15, 2022 in General Santos City.

Held annually since 2017, and with the theme “Makig-bisug, Kabatan-unan: Regenerating a youth centered Impetus towards Helping Achieving Sustainable and Inclusive Development Post-pandemic", this year's PYLC aims to gather hundreds of Sangguniang Kabataan officials, Local Youth Development Officers, Local Youth Development Council members, and civil society leaders to provide and avenue to celebrate successes on, and discuss challenges with regards to the implementation of, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The 2022 installment is also organized in support of the United Nations Foundation's Global Goals Week celebrating the 7th year anniversary of the ratification of the 2030 Agenda.

The PYLC 2022 is also organized by GIYD as an official supporting partner of the United Nations Foundation for the 2022 Global Goals Week, and in celebration of the seventh anniversary of the ratification of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
